ISO 9001 – Quality
In September 2020 we were successfully audited by BSI and certified according to ISO 9001: 2015
The certification relates to the scope of the management system: The import of lighting components from various manufacturing facilities worldwide to form part of a finished lighting fixture solution, produced, assembled, marketed, and sold within the UK and the international construction industry.
ISO 9001 is a nationally and internationally recognised and accepted standard for the quality management system (QMS). This standard describes requirements that ensure the quality of products and services. The certification according to this standard guarantees the reliability and customer orientation of our company.
ISO 14001 – Environmental
In December 2022 we were successfully audited by BSI and certified according to ISO 14001
The certification relates to the scope of the Environmental management system: development, production and sales of LED lamps, luminaires, components, and lighting systems.
ISO 14001 is a nationally and internationally recognised and accepted standard for the Environmental management System (EMS). This standard describes requirements that ensure the quality of products and services. The certification according to this standard guarantees the reliability and customer orientation of our company.
The Lighting Industry Association (LIA)
At the start of January 2024, Architectural FX became a full member of the Lighting Industry Association (LIA).
The LIA is the trade association serving the UK lighting industry and its supply chain. It promotes best practise, shared information and knowledge and provides a wide range of services for the members and wider lighting industry.
We started this journey to comply with the TM66 requirements. This is a recently developed initiative by the LIA and is endorsed by CIBSE (Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers). It is a scheme aimed to promote circular economy practices within the lighting industry. We are fully supportive of this and aim to be amongst the leaders in the industry driving this forward.
