Architectural FX was recently appointed by architectural lighting designers The Lighting Asylum to provide lighting solutions for a private in North London. Although the property is a new build, the design echoes a period Georgian home, and the lighting needed to enhance this.
The property has a sub terrain pool hall, with three floors above. The lighting design from The Lighting Asylum embraces the classic approach, combined with technologically advanced solutions.
Tom Singleton from The Lighting Asylum said: “The service was outstanding from the Architectural FX team. They were incredibly responsive, and their technical skillset is vast, which was a huge asset to the project. We consistently use Architectural FX for all our linear solutions because of this.”
Solutions from Architectural FX can be found throughout the home, including FX 8 x9 for the joinery. Pro CRI 80 with opal covers are used for the coffer lighting, while the shower niches are illuminated with Neon Ultra.
The end result has met the brief beautifully, creating a Georgian feel while embracing modernity and the benefits of cutting-edge lighting technology.
