Apl’s turn for TM66 certification
Architectural FX continues with its TM66 certification within the LIA TM66 Assured Product Verification Scheme. The focus has been on the apl range as next priority.
Following on from the successful certification of the Integrate range, the company is proud to confirm that LTwo by apl has also achieved the top level of ‘Excellent Circularity’ with the CIBSE TM66 digital tool.
Issie Gilbert, Product Design Assistant for the company has recently been appointed sustainability ‘champion’ and is not surprised by the high score achieved for Ltwo, of 2.5.
‘‘LTwo uses a minimum amount of material in the product design. Aluminium use is 124 gr/m, plastic 45 gr/m and electronic components 5.5 gr/m. It also has a small number of parts, no screws and can easily be disassembled. We’re excited to bring the APL LTwo range onto the sustainability radar and show everyone what we can do!’’
